Can't Think of a Specific Title for This Post...But That Doesn't Mean That I Can't Make Another Long Title

I'll be 21 in less than one month from today. Seriously, I can't imagine being 21...I mean...if you look at me you'll be like - "You??? 21??? Come on...are you kidding me??? Stop kidding...bla, bla, bla..."and you'll continue on and on until the next day. Well, not exactly until the next day...but then again I am always full with sarcasm...so, you get the picture.

However...I wanted to buy myself something for my upcoming birthday. And do you know what the first thing that pops out in my mind??? The new Steven Gerrard's book...

And I was like...OMG!!! How lame can I be??? There's got to be a million things in the whole wide world and I want a book for my 21st birthday??? Those kids in the MTV My Super Sweet 16 show wanted at least a car on their 16th! I repeat, 16th birthday. I must be insane.

Then again...those kids can be considered spoiled...I mean big time. I don't ask for something that I think that I don't deserved. Unless you are giving it to me willingly la,hehe...
O yea, FYI...even though it's a book, it's quite expensive...approximately 12GBP, so try and convert it into MYR. Eh??? Only RM 64.00++...Owh, I forgot that the currency was going down today...it's only 1GBP=5.357 instead of the usual 7. something2...

Anyway, after thinking how lame I was for wanting a book...then I started wanting something else. Guess what??? More BOOKS...only this time it's a series of books, kinda like the Harry Potter's series.

I WANT THE TWILIGHT SERIES.

Actually I never heard of this series before. Not until after the Harry Potter 6th movie was posponed to July next year and the E! News says that Twilight The Movie was kinda of replacing the Harry Potter movie and the author, Stephenie Meyer is like the next J.K. Rowling. And they showed some of the trailer and now I'm hooked. And I can't wait to watch the movie and reading the books at the same time.

I must be a book addict I think. I mean, my bookshelf is almost full right now and yet I still want more books. Let me see...I have the whole series of Dragon Ball 1-43...most of Zint's graphic novel, the one on Gempak Starz...the whole Harry Potter's book from 1-7...a lot of Fear Street book, Meg Cabot's, Louise Rennison's who wrote The Confession of Georgia Nicolson, which the 1st movie is coming soon...a lot of Malay's novel...and other unclassified english books.

Anyway...If you can think of a better stuff that I can purchase it for myself as my birthday gift...feel free to let me know. Or better yet, don't tell me and get it for me as my birthday gift xDDD

I Don't Know Why, But I Like to Make a Very Long Title.....Even When It Have Nothing to Do With My Post

Just now in class we discussed a very interesting issue. I don't know how in the first place we got to that issue, but suddenly we are no longer talking about International Trade Strategies (FYI, that was the class I was in)

O yea, the issue...it's about marriage. Well, I think that marriage is the unification of two people...just like the West Germany and East Germany...hahaha...from my own perspective...

Anyway, the Asian culture is different from the European or Western. One of my course mate says that most of the couples stays together before they get married. Well of course if you are in Malaysia, and you're a Muslim...you cannot do that. Even being alone with a guy at a lonely place you could also get caught by JAKIM/JAIS. Like that Norman Hakim, hahaha...what a weak reason trying to defend himself by saying that he didn't know that he was alone with the girl. At 3 in the morning!!! Come on...nobody is that to stupid to believe you.....OMG! I got distracted...this is not what I wanted to tell you guys.

So coming back to the original story. From living with your partner we moved on to living all by yourself by the time that you reach the legal age (basically). I know it's common for the Westerners and the European to move out of their parents house at a very young age. However we...you can say me and most of the Muslim do not practice that...I don't know about other religions but it's like we have the obligations towards our parents. When you move out, people would think that you and your parents are having a fight or something. And if you move out, they may feel that you abandon them. There's a saying that a single parent can take care of 10 kids, but 10 kids might not be able to take care of one parent.

So what do you think??? For me, since I've been raised to treasure the family values and the relationship among family members...I think as long as you don't forget about your responsiblities to your parents, no matter where do you live...then it's fine. You are also entitle to life your own life.

Don't Judge a Book by it's Cover???

Do you really believe that you can't judge people by their first impression???

What if your first impression of them are true???

So in order to know whether your first impression of them is true or not...you have to get to know them basically.

But, what if your first impression of them is a negative one??? Won't you think that - why do I want to waste my time getting to know him/her?...It's obvious that he's/she's not a friendly (or whatever negative impression) type of person. Would you feel it's your loss after that if he/she turns out to be a great person??? Or if you do get to know them and your negative impression of them are true...won't you feel disappointed? Waste of time? Cheated by those words telling you not to judge a book by it's cover???

So which of the three situation would give you more benefit rather than disappointment??? Which one will have the lowest risk??? Go figure...because I've made some bad decisions myself. So who am I to tell you which one is better.....
